Fellowships supporting Fine Artists

The funding priorities of the ZF Art Foundation are fine arts, music, and film. Artists experiment, reflect, and question. Artistic positions contribute to expanding the cultural discourse and promote understanding and appreciation of different perspectives and life realities.

The idea of supporting fine artists through fellowships was already considered when the foundation was established in 1990. The fellowship programs of the ZF Art Foundation assist artists in their creative development and provide space for artistic work, experimentation, and further thinking. Exhibitions and educational formats promote dialogue between art and society.

The ZF Art Foundation is committed to making contemporary art visible and understandable. In close collaboration with museums, galleries, educational institutions, and cultural initiatives in the Lake Constance region, formats are created that make art tangible: exhibitions, artist talks, workshops, and publications invite engagement with current artistic positions. In this way, art is not only presented but also conveyed – as a vibrant part of social discourse and an invitation to participate.
