Young Virtuosos. Exceptional Talent. Extraordinary Musical Journeys.
The ZF Art Foundation and Peter Vogel have been working together since 1999. Their shared goal is to promote young exceptional talents and establish extraordinary musical experiences in the Lake Constance region, offering audiences new and diverse insights into the world of music.
International Young Masters Pianist Festival (since 1999)
The ZF Art Foundation and the International Concert Association Bodensee e.V. have successfully collaborated for many years. Since 1999, the ZF Art Foundation has been the main sponsor of the International Young Masters Pianist Festival. The festival is distinguished by master classes with internationally renowned teachers and an extensive concert program around the Lake Constance region. Thanks to the ZF Art Foundation’s commitment, the young, exceptionally gifted pianists can perform as soloists with various orchestras and gain stage experience.
25 Years of the ZF Music Award (since 2001)
From this commitment, the International Piano Competition for the ZF Music Award emerged in 2001, which has been awarded biennially since 2004.
Every two years, six highly talented pianists are invited to compete for the ZF Music Award. Participants are selected, among others, from the soloists who have performed at the International Young Masters Pianist Festival.
In a public piano competition under the artistic direction of Peter Vogel, a four-member international jury determines the prize winners. The winner receives a prize of €10,000. The second prize is €5,000, and the third prize €3,000.
Each of the three public competition concerts features a specific repertoire, offering the audience an exciting and varied musical experience—especially since visitors can also vote for their personal favorite with an audience award.
