Biography
Jooyeon Ka is a prizewinner of numerous international competitions, including the 65th International Piano Competition Premio Jaén (Spain) and the New York International Piano Competition (USA). She reached the main rounds of the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw twice. She has performed with orchestras such as the Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra and the Málaga Philharmonic Orchestra. Jooyeon Ka studied at Yonsei University in Seoul, with Prof. Jacques Rouvier at the Mozarteum University Salzburg, and is currently studying with Prof. Björn Lehmann at the Berlin University of the Arts.

Concert Activity
Jooyeon Ka has performed with a wide range of orchestras, including the Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra, the Málaga Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Prime Philharmonic Orchestra. She has been invited to perform at renowned venues and festivals worldwide, appearing in historic halls such as the Seoul Arts Center Concert Hall, the Mozarthaus in Vienna, Haus Opherdicke, the Yamaha Concert Hall, and the Thürmer Hall in Bochum. Her festival appearances include the Pianoforte-Fest Meißen in Germany and the Festival de Úbeda in Spain. Her concert activity has taken her to Germany, France, Poland, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Spain, and beyond. In 2023, she was invited by the International Mozarteum Foundation to perform on the piano once owned by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in his residence in Salzburg.
