Biography
Sohta Miura has won, among other distinctions, First Prize at the Giovani Musicisti Città di Treviso Competition, Third Prize at the Rina Sala Gallo International Piano Competition in Monza (2024), and is a prizewinner of the 89th Music Competition of Japan. He has appeared as a soloist with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano and has given concerts in Tokyo, Osaka, Hamamatsu, Kassel, Walsrode, Heidelberg, and Munich. After completing his studies at the Toho Gakuen School of Music, he is currently studying at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media with Prof. Roland Krüger.

Concert Activity
As a soloist, Sohta Miura has performed with renowned ensembles such as the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano, and the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. His active concert life as a recitalist and chamber musician has taken him to major venues including the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Teatro Gerolamo in Milan, as well as to Tokyo and Osaka. He has also appeared in numerous German cities, including Munich, Heidelberg, and Kassel. In the field of chamber music, he has collaborated with professors from the Hamburg and Rostock universities of music as well as with members of the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano.
