Sophie Druml is studying piano under Prof. Christopher Hinterhuber and violin under Prof. Julian Rachlin at the University of Music in Vienna as well as piano under Prof. Jacques Rouvier and violin under Prof. Benjamin Schmid, Prof. Rainer Schmidt and Emmanuel Tjeknavorian at the Mozarteum Salzburg. Encounters with Paul Gulda were instrumental in shaping her development. Indeed, she has performed with Piotr Beczala, Paul Gulda and the aron quartett, undertaken two world tours with TwoSet Violin and performed at Vienna’s Musikverein, the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and the Tonhalle Düsseldorf.
