Seonghyeon Leem studied at Seoul National University under Prof. Aviram Reichert (BA), the Mozarteum Salzburg under Prof. Jacques Rouvier (MA), the University of Music and Theatre Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Leipzig under Prof. Christian A. Pohl (master class) and the Mozarteum Salzburg (Piano Chamber Music and Lied). She attended master classes with Prof. Paul Badura-Skoda, Prof. Menahem Pressler and Prof. Arie Vardi, won the Pro Musicis International Award in 2023, and gave concert recitals at the Salle Cortot in Paris, the Arsenal in Metz and the Gohliser Schlösschen, Leipzig.

Concert activity
Seonghyeon Leem has played concert tours in Germany, Austria, Hungary, Poland and China. She has been invited to perform several times by the Kumho Asiana Cultural Foundation, the Korean-Liszt Society, the Korea-Austria Culture and Technology Exchange Association and the Korean Cultural Institute. She has worked with renowned conductors and orchestras such as Sławomir Chrzanowski and the Zabrze Philharmonic Orchestra, Alexander Drčar and the Bad Reichenhall Philharmonic Orchestra as well as Ja-Kyung Year and the Gunpo Prime Philharmonic Orchestra. Seonghyeon Leem stepped in for Paul Gulda at the 34th Chopin Festival in Gaming. Over the 22/23 season, she performed Beethoven’s Triple Concerto with the Mozarteum University Symphony Orchestra under Ion Marin at the Salzburg Festival. As part of the International Young Masters Piano Festival, she played Ravel’s Piano Concerto with the Southwest German Philharmonic Orchestra under Hankyeol Yoon.
